How does the it work with alcohol?

Typsy Gypsy is serve only - We do not provide/pick up the alcohol

Typsy Gypsy does not hold a liquor license and we are not permitted to sell alcohol. The party booking Typsy Gypsy must provide and pick up all the alcohol and Typsy Gypsy will serve the drinks. We are not permitted to receive any money for drinks served to guest, only our services. Alcohol, mixers, drinks & garnishes must be provided by the client. We do have liquor liability insurance and are safe serve certified. Some venues require this. If they are needing the documentation for this we would be happy to provide it. Some venues also have rules (ex: not allowed to serve shots). If you have a contract with a venue that has any requirements, please let us know so we can be sure that we are not putting you at any risk of contract violations.

 

How does setup work?

If possible, we like to setup the day before or early in the morning of events. This helps us know the space, make sure there is no issues getting the trailer in, plug in the fridges and freezers so they have time to cool down & know if we need any additional items. Setup can be quite the chore, setting up early also allows us time to go get ready for your event! We know that you might not have this information in advance, so we will be reaching out to you as we get closer to the event to verify the setup time and day. If you have that information in the meantime just let us know and we will put it in our notes.

 

What about drink options?

Please let us know what drinks you would like served at your event. May we suggest our Gypsy Berry? It is a HUGE crowd pleaser at weddings and contains champagne, ginger ale, flavored vodka and your choice of fruit (strawberry, blueberry, peach). If you already know what drinks that you would like served, please send us that information so we can plan on prepping. Don't know right now? No worries, we can connect later and would be happy to help you out if you would like some suggestions. We can also advise what would be needed as far as alcohol, mixers, drinks & garnishes.

Will the trailer fit at the venue?

Below are the dimensions for the trailer and mobile bar, it maybe helpful to be sure that it will fit at the venue keeping in mind the trailer will be pulled by a truck and will need space for the truck to pull up and reverse back to the trailer. Unsure? Reach out to us and we can help!

Ready to Book?

Start  off with filling out the Request an Estimate Form. One of our Gypsies will review and send you an estimate shortly after. Once you receive the estimate, if you would like to book just email us back and we will send you an invoice for the $100 deposit. Once the deposit is paid we will get you on the calendar and send you an invoice for the remaining amount. All events are required to be paid in full 30 days before the event.

Need help with picking out drinks? We are here for you! Just send us a message with an idea of a theme, something you had in mind, examples of something you have had in the past that you really enjoyed and we can help you find drinks and ingredients that work best for your event!
